Margaret McRae's Front Garden 1253 Broadview Avenue |
In
May 2004 I removed all the grass and turned the entire front yard into
a garden.
Plants in the front include: Amaranthus, Anise Hyssop, Chives, Lemon Balm, Feverfew, Echinacea pupurea, Common Milkweed, Dwarf Iris, Lavender, New England Aster, Monarda, High Mallow, Sunflower, Coreopsis, Centaurium, Garden Phlox, Yew, Tulips, Euonymous, Sedum. Many of the plants were transferred from the backyard or given to me by neighbours. Some arrived on their own. My plants have won many red ribbons in my garden club shows.
